My pain

Everything always goes so well
But with the slip of the tongue it goes so wrong
Words are just words
But are like a dagger through heart when spoken with anger

You push and push
The tears come so easy
Too bad you couldn't see them
Your too busy trying to hurt me
If only you could open your eyes and really look
then you would see the tears running down my cheek

You think it's a game
For me its a choice
Do I stay or do I go?
I turn my head so you can't see
at night I muffle my face into the pillow so you can't hear
that what you say does indeed cause me pain

your words cut deep
deeper than any cut through the skin
the pain worse than a blade slicing through
why can't you open your eyes and see that when words hurt it's time to change

when words hurt they say it's time to go
people don't see though
they don't see the love that I have for you
the love that I have is real
why would you hurt me

I can take the words
I can take the pain
I can take the silence
I can take it all
except the tears you can't see.

I breathe in

The head rush comes and goes

I wonder what it would be like to let go
Stretch my arms out
Feel the blood flow all the way to my fingertips

Oh what I would give to walk to the edge
To just let go
Let the air take me away
Guide me some place nice

Let me drift away
Let me leave my problems behind
Let me have some inner peace
Because it all goes away when I close my eyes

I feel at peace
I feel relaxed
I feel not that of pain but that of love
Love I have for myself

But only when I close my eyes

Tiny little fingers
Oh so small
Tiny little fingers out to explore the world
Tiny little fingers strive on curiosity

I love the way your tiny little fingers grab my thumb and you laugh
Tiny little fingers
Oh so precious

Your tiny little fingers keep you occupied for hours
They want nothing but to touch new things
Tiny little fingers help ease the pain of new toothies

Tiny fingers show the signs of hungriness
Your so cute when you rub your sleepy eyes with your tiny little fingers
All and all they might be just tiny little fingers but they mean the world to me.

Love is like magic

For love still remains
Life's sweet mystery!!

Into beauty and splendor

Understanding and kind,
For it sees with its heart
And not with its mind!!

Love is the answer
That everyone seeks...
Love is the language,
That every heart speaks.

Love can't be bought,
It is priceless and free,
Love, like pure magic,

In my daughter's eyes

In my daughter's eyes, I am a hero,
I am strong and wise,
And I know no fear.
But the truth is plain to see
She was sent to rescue me,
I see who I wanna be, in my daughters eyes.


In my daughter's eyes, everyone is equal,
Darkness turns to light,
And the world is at peace,
This miracle God gave to me,
Gives me strength when I am weak,
I find reason to believe, in my daughter's eyes.


And when she wraps her hand around my finger,
Oh, it puts a smile in my heart.
Everything becomes a little clearer.
I realize what life is all about.
It's hangin' on when your heart has had enough;
It's giving more when you feel like giving up,
I've seen the light it's in my daughter's eyes.



In my daughter's eyes, I can see the future.

A reflection of who I am, and what will be.
And though she'll grow and, some day leave
Maybe raise a family,
When I'm gone, I hope you'll see,
How happy she made me,
